Our sportfishing yacht is one of the largest in Turks and Caicos, spacious to accommodate large groups (up to 15) for a single day adventure on the turquoise waters. The 36’ Benchmark Catamaran was manufactured to make every experience an unforgettable one with the best technology, smoothest sailing and luxurious salon.
Her double-hull is the feature that sets her apart from her Catchin’ Caicos peers, and provides stable, silky days on the sea for those who may otherwise fear the dreaded “sea sickness.” A yacht that’s easy to sail is also very easy to enjoy. This vessel is powered by twin inboard 430hp Cummins Diesel Engine, known for their durability combined with the ability to tow a very hefty load if necessary.
The interior of the yacht is top notch and well secured. The spacious salon is also furnished with the best materials, as many cabinets as you may need, and even more room to relax and enjoy the cruise.
With top-of-the-line fishing equipment, a day on the water exploring the second largest reef in the Western Hemisphere is sure to yield reward. Simrad Electronics provide a three dimensional view underwater, assisting both in navigation and locating game.
The best equipment is truly needed to make the best experience, and with the Shimano Talica TAC5011 Lever Drag 2 Speed Reels your fishing experience on this yacht is bound to be second to none. These powerful reels are compact, cold forged, lightweight and mounted on Blackfin rods with 2 speed gear reduction capability. This gives the reels a very powerful drag system to withstand long heavy battles.

Experiences

Private charters for individuals or groups wanting a day at sea, to experience The Turks & Caicos Islands by water. We offer one of the most luxurious and well-equipped sport-fishing yachts in the TCI. Catchin' Caicos is currently the largest sportfish at 60 feet. Our half day charters run for 4 hours, but if you would like more time, a full day is available for 8 hours. For smaller groups we also offer at 26ft skiff so be sure to reach out to our reservations team to create the ideal package for your needs and budget.
Deep Sea Fishing

The Turks & Caicos Islands have long been considered one of the best fishing destinations in the world. This is in part to an expansive barrier reef surrounding the islands, coupled with deep ocean trenches, which are ideal for larger game fish. These waters are fantastic fishing grounds to troll for tuna, mahi, wahoo, marlin, sailfish and many other species. These world class fishing grounds are ten minutes from our dock, which means you will spend more time fishing and less time traveling to haul in your big catch.
Bottom Fishing

Bottom fishing is a great way to enjoy a day on the water, fishing for grouper and snapper or snorkelling the pristine waters for lobster and conch. The fishing grounds are located within the boundaries of the Caicos Bank, and are inclusive of a barrier reef that has miles of small coral heads teaming with life that support this fantastic bottom fishing experience. Bottom fishing is conducive for catching snapper, jacks, grouper, and an assortment of other reef fish.
Snorkelling

With the surrounding barrier reef giving the islands a protective wall in shallow water, offshore snorkelling is an easy way to explore the underwater world without the need for heavy diving equipment. Snorkeling the pristine waters for lobster and conch are also a great way to enjoy the waters of the Turks and Caicos. A mask, snorkel, fins, and a vest (if you prefer), are all you need to experience it for yourself. Captain Roy knows of plenty of great spots to spend the day. You can also enjoy your fresh catch right on deck or on the beach with a grill. Captain Roy is a great chef!

For the more serious anglers, Catchin Caicos is also open to entering regional tournaments with guests joining the action. Catchin' Caicos is the recent winner (2017) of The Annual Grand Turk Fisherman's Tournament and has placed highly in the Wine Cellar Golf & Fishing Tournament.

Sunset Cruises

A romantic sunset cruise is one of the most popular experiences for guests visiting the islands. We offer private, upscale experiences for up to 15 guests to watch the day come to a close with a glass or two of your favorite cocktail. You may even be fortunate enough to experience the Green Flash (The Green Flash is the phenomena that occurs when the sun sets)
Whale Watching

Through January, February, March and April we offer whale watching off Grand Turk and Salt Cay to see the annual humpback migration. The Turk's Island Passage is renowned for some of the best conditions in the world as the whales are naturally funneled through the channel. It's not uncommon to see whale calves with their mothers, along with pods of five or more whales during this time of year.
